Hosted at Kelvin and Tonya Torve’s house.

As he nears the end of a lonely three-year stint on the moon base Sarang, astronaut Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) begins to hear and see strange things. It’s not long before Sam suspects that his employer — the conglomerate LUNAR — has other plans for him. Featuring Kevin Spacey as the voice of a robot, this sci-fi thriller also stars Matt Berry and Kaya Scodelario. The film was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival.

Rated R for language (film will be shown unedited, in its entirety)

Unfortunately my schedule changed (this week  >:( ) and I won’t be able to make it as I am working late on Friday.  I was really looking forward to this.

Ephesus Church

Ephesus Church is a church in Uptown Charlotte. We’re about people, culture, this city and Jesus. The Apostle Paul planted a church in the center of the city of Ephesus, which was then a part of the Roman Empire. Ephesus was a growing, vibrant city, the center of trade and commerce in its part of the world, much as Charlotte is today. The church Paul planted loved Jesus and loved their city. We want to be a church that does the same, thus Ephesus Church. We’re a church that wants to love Jesus, love people and love this city.
