The Spiritual Lessons of Elf

Icon_plaza_topic
Thanks Kati for pointing this out! http://www.relevantmagazine.com/culture/film/blog/19542-the-spiritual-lessons-of-elf

Comment from Kati Robertson: i was a bit skeptical when i read the title. i kind of groaned and thought, “this is going to be a stretch”; but the article is actually pretty amazing. plus, i think it goes to show how God cannot be boxed in. even in the most “secular” of things, He is still present and He still speaks to us.

now, for the next series at Ephesus, i’d like to suggest “the gospel according to will ferrell” =P

Ephesus Church

Ephesus Church is a church in Uptown Charlotte. We’re about people, culture, this city and Jesus. The Apostle Paul planted a church in the center of the city of Ephesus, which was then a part of the Roman Empire. Ephesus was a growing, vibrant city, the center of trade and commerce in its part of the world, much as Charlotte is today. The church Paul planted loved Jesus and loved their city. We want to be a church that does the same, thus Ephesus Church. We’re a church that wants to love Jesus, love people and love this city.
